EDI Environmental Dynamics Inc. is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to lead the successful planning, execution, and delivery of our client’s projects. Our “Down to Earth Biology” approach means we deliver practical, actionable plans and hands-on solutions that truly get results, collaborating meaningfully with clients, regulators, and communities. The successful candidate must have a strong base in project management, experience in business development, a proven track record of delivering effective project outcomes and solutions, and interest in collaborating with a team and providing mentorship to junior staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies, Engineering, Sciences, or a related field.
· Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or professional designation in Environmental (R.P.Bio, P.Geo, or P.Ag.), or Geology/Engineering (P.Geo., P.Eng.) discipline is an asset.
· Minimum of 10 years’ relevant work experience in a project management and/or project coordination role.

Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership:
    o Lead the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal team members
    o Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation
    o Oversee day-to-day project execution, ensuring efficiency, timeliness, and budget adherence

o Monitor progress, identify deviations, and implement timely corrective actions

  • Client Relationships:

o Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring clear and regular communication on project status and potential issues
o Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project team members and external partners (including regulators, Indigenous Nations/Communities, and stakeholders)

o Collaborate to identify opportunities for expanded scopes of work and new service offerings with clients

  • Quality Assurance:

o Ensure projects adhere to strict quality standards, environmental protocols, and industry best practices
o Promptly address issues and roadblocks, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills
o Maintain accurate and organized project documentation
o Conduct thorough post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement
