PROJECT MANAGER – SOLAR PV

Elco Group are a Renewable Technologies company dealing with Solar PV and Electric Vehicle Charging Points. Elco Groups focus is on reducing energy bills and providing a green and sustainable future for generations to come, built on a combined experience of over 20 years in solar PV
(Photovoltaic) and renewable energies. We have an impressive portfolio of project’s ranging from blue chip clients through to premiership football stadiums
We strive to work “Everyway Efficient” in cost and process, creating solutions to offer more control back to you, from initial design and survey all the way through to aftercare and maintenance.
We are currently looking for energetic Project Manager to join our growing team in the renewable energy market.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in the Solar PV sector
  • Technical knowledge of electrical & solar PV systems
  • Candidates looking to move into project management from a site role will be considered
  • Electrical Qualifications are required
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • Full UK Driving License

Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our fast growing company for a candidate with a background in Solar PV.
Our company specialise in the installation of solar PV within the new build/construction and commercial sector.
Based at our office in Rochester, you will be involved in the day to day management of solar
PV installations across the country. working as part of an existing team you will be the senior project manager.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the field of solar PV or will have technical knowledge of the systems. This may be at graduate level or as an electrician/installer project manager.

THE ROLE:

  • Day to day management of solar PV and Electrical installations
  • Organise and manage installation teams
  • Ordering of materials, ensuring they arrive on site on the day or prior to installation on site
  • Undertaking G99 applications to grid for connection of PV system (full training on this given)
  • Assisting with electrical designs
  • Keeping our project management software updated to ensure all compliance is met
  • Ensure quality of work meets regulatory standards and is completed to high level
  • Provide technical support
  • Office/ Home based role with occasional site visits
