REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 10+ years of engineering experience in the industrial sector.
  • Project Management experience needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Current TWIC Card needed.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • P.E. or E.I.T. encouraged.
  • Background supporting projects for Electrical Power Distribution and Control Systems preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Utilize your technical abilities in electrical engineering, control systems, and instrumentation to troubleshoot and resolve operational upsets or equipment failures for assigned assets.
  • Electrical Engineer position to support client pipeline storage facility and transmission installations.
  • Support maintenance and reliability of high, medium, and low voltage electrical equipment.
  • Support operation and troubleshooting of process control systems, including PLC programming, function testing, and network design.
  • Mitigate asset risk by managing threats and opportunities using the MTO work process and supporting SOF/PSSR for asset restarts.
  • Initiate and manage electrical and control discipline-related MOCs and lead implementation for field-drive changes.
  • Support large projects by participating in HAZOP, HAZID, and Design Reviews to ensure project delivery meets the technical premise.
  • Serve as custodian of critical drawings, including changes associated with P&CDs, Cause & Effect Diagrams, and Area classification.
  • Facilitate Asset Care Plan by ensuring the right preventative maintenance plans and tasks for equipment by submitting changes to be made to client product specifications.
  • Provide input to the Asset Master Plan for electrical engineering, control systems, and instrumentation discipline.
  • Support development and implementation of stand best practices and equipment care strategies for the diverse Midstream asset base.
