Knight Electric, based in Justin, TX with offices in the Southeast US, is a National Electrical Services provider looking to grow our team. We specialize in remodels, resets, ground-up construction as well as backup power systems in the Commercial industry.
Location: Cumming, GA (in-office)
Electrical Project Manager - Job Description
- Complete material take-off and planning/coordination of subcontractors and materials
- Assist team with establishing scope of subcontracted work and verifying vendors.
- Order, receive and distribute materials efficiently and coordinate shipments of materials to the appropriate sites.
- Confirm and enter data into tracking spreadsheet to ensure compliance with Scope of Work.
- Prepare and maintain cost tracker to ensure budget guidelines are being met.
- Resolve contract questions with customers and contractors with direction from all parties involved.
- Ability to pull permits and ensure all COI’s are complete as required.
- Establish and maintain positive/effective communication during the project.
- Ability to travel, at times on short notice.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements:
- 6+ years managing projects in the electrical construction industry.
- Previous field experience in the electrical construction trade.
- Ability to travel, at times on short-notice and work nights / weekends at times.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills necessary as well as MS Office applications.
- Successful background in collaborating with customers, vendors, employees, and partners to solve related issues.
- Proficiency in software tools Bluebeam, Procore or similar in the electrical construction industry.
Compensation:
- $100,000 - $125,000 annually plus bonus and highly competitive benefits.
Additional Information:
- Previous Journeyman or Masters License is preferred.
- Projects managed to include remodels or retrofits with big-box retail customers is preferred.
- Must comply with our Conduct and Appearance Standards, which reflect Company image.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
