Job Description
Turner & Townsend is seeking a technically strong Project Manager to join our Building/Technical Services team. This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career (5–10 years’ experience) who has delivered complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects and is ready to take the next step—joining a global, tier-one project management consultancy.
We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in electrical and/or controls systems, ideally gained through experience in a design consultancy or MEP services delivery contracting environment. A solid technical capability is essential to support the delivery of projects in live, operational environments—where managing risks such as live cutovers and complex design interdependencies is critical.
While the focus is on electrical expertise, we will consider exceptional candidates from a mechanical background who also have demonstrated experience in electrical delivery.
Our projects span across Melbourne and nationally, supporting some of Australia’s largest property holders with technical upgrades and sustainability-driven CAPEX programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5–10 years of experience in building/technical services, with a strong focus on electrical and/or controls systems.
  • Background in design consultancy or MEP services delivery contracting.
  • Strong technical capability and deep understanding of building systems.
  • Proven experience managing projects in live, operational environments.
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering (electrical/mechanical) is required, or substantial, demonstrable industry experience in a relevant technical field.
