Project Manager Electronic Systems (m/w/d)
As project manager Electronic Systems Development, you are leading projects dealing with the development and manufacturing of electronic units for satellites. In this role you are managing a multidisciplinary team of experts creating custom built new products according to specific customer requirements sometimes at the edge of technical feasibility. Your Tasks

• Manage multidisciplinary, international project teams involving the Electronic Systems department and other engineering specialists to design, integrate, and verify space-qualified electronic units in line with mission-specific requirements
• Act as primary interface between project teams and internal as well as external customers
• Plan and coordinate all project phases, including design, component procurement, manufacturing, testing, and qualification activities
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and progress reports
• Define objectives and track progress through regular project team meetings
• Organisation and conductance of design and project reviews with internal stakeholders and external customers
• Provide regular project status updates to the company management
• Plan budgets and perform cost estimations for current and upcoming projects
• Write proposals and lead proposal teams for future projects

Your Qualifications

• University degree in a technical field (e.g., Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or equivalent qualification
• Strong interpersonal skills and team leadership capabilities
• Proven experience in managing development projects, ideally within the space industry
• Basic understanding of electronics and familiarity with electronic design automation (EDA) tools
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus but not required
