Position Summary Odyssey is seeking a Project Manager to support the successful delivery of high-impact corporate initiatives at Odyssey. An individual in this role will be responsible for managing corporate projects by coordinating activities, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role involves working closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to facilitate communication and resolve issues promptly. As an active member of the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO), the Project Manager will contribute to standardizing project practices, maintaining documentation, and promoting collaboration within the enterprise portfolio. The ideal candidate brings project management or coordination experience, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to drive progress in complex, cross-functional environments. Experience in process improvement, project management, enterprise systems, defense contracting industry is a plus. This is a hybrid position based out of Odyssey’s corporate headquarters in Wakefield, MA required to support from office 3 days per week. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: Manage corporate projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines. Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple departments to facilitate communication, gather requirements, and resolve issues promptly. Support project planning, execution, and administrative support, including scheduling, resource coordination, and risk tracking. Maintain accurate project documentation, including status reports, meeting notes, and deliverable tracking. Monitor project progress and escalate risks or delays to senior project managers or leadership as needed. Collaborate with the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) to apply standardized methodologies, tools, and reporting practices. Be prepared to support active working groups, strategic planning efforts, or other major initiatives as necessary. Assist in preparing presentations and updates for leadership and governance forums. Promote teamwork and knowledge sharing within the EPMO and across project teams. Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Minimum Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Organizational Development, or a related field Years of Experience: At least two (2) years of progressive experience in project management, familiarity with defense contracting or working in a government services organization is a plus Technical Skills Demonstrated experience in program or project-level oversight Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Planner, SharePoint, PowerPoint) and project management platforms. Experience developing or managing SharePoint-based project tracking systems or dashboards Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to augment task completion, ranging from simple to complex efforts An advanced user of Microsoft Planner, or other web-based project management tool, is preferred Experience with advanced MS365 tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, or Viva is preferred Experience with knowledge management, change management, risk management, or enterprise systems is preferred Interpersonal Skills Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience coordinating or supporting complex, cross-functional efforts Ability to manage both strategic and tactical aspects of project work simultaneously Expressed interest in obtaining PMP or other relevant certifications Additional Information Location: Corporate Office – Wakefield, MA Travel: 5% Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid: Hybrid role, three (3) days onsite. #LI-MP1 Company Overview Odyssey Systems is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
