WHO YOU ARE You are an experienced environmental professional with a proactive approach to managing projects that meet environmental regulations and standards. Your key skills include: Experience in managing environmental and civil engineering projects Extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance and skilled in managing environmental risks and implementing mitigation strategies Capable of developing and leading Environmental & Sustainability Plans Effective communicator with government, contractors, community, and project teams Demonstrates strong leadership and commitment to ethical environmental practices Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to reporting and problem-solving Dedicated to ongoing professional development and sustainability best practices WHAT YOU’LL DO As the Project Manager - Environmental, you will lead the management of environmental aspects across projects to ensure compliance, sustainability, and effective stakeholder collaboration. Your key responsibilities will include: Ensure projects comply with NT and federal environmental laws and permits Monitor environmental risks and conduct site inspections regularly Develop, implement, and update Environmental & Sustainability Plans Manage land remediation, waste, and environmental impact mitigation Lead engagement with government, community, contractors, and consultants Prepare compliance reports and handle permit applications and renewals Oversee environmental program budgets and resource allocation Promote sustainability initiatives and best environmental practices WHAT’S NEXT If you are interested in this position, please submit your CV and cover letter which describes who you are and addresses the criteria detailed above.
