The Environmental Sciences Project Manager leads all aspects of individual projects, predominantly dealing with regulatory compliance monitoring, permitting, and contamination assessment.
The Project Manager exercises discretion and independent judgment in managing projects of various scope with complex features, and in accordance with the Jones Edmunds Project Management Manual. The Project Manager is responsible for overall project quality, schedule adherence, and financial performance. This individual assigns tasks to and oversees scientists, engineers, technicians, and administrative staff working on the project. The Project Manager has extensive interaction with technical and non-technical staff, clients, officials, contractors, vendors, and others. The Project Manager prepares the scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments. This individual is expected to attend project meetings and develop and make presentations concerning specific aspects of engineering assignments. The Project Manager is responsible for continued marketing and sales to clients with whom they are working.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: BS in Engineering, Science, Architecture, Management, or related field from an accredited college or university.
Registration: Florida Professional Geologist or Engineer Preferred
Certification: None
Experience: 8+ years of progressive consulting or related experience
Other: Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable MVR
