PROJECT MANAGER - ERP:

Procom is searching for a Project Manager - ERP for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Balzac office.

PROJECT MANAGER - ERP - JOB DESCRIPTION:

Undertaking a comprehensive ERP transformation initiative. This project involves a multi-phase ERP requirements analysis, vendor selection, and implementation process across the organization. The initial phase will focus on requirements analysis and readiness review, followed by RFP development and vendor evaluation.

PROJECT MANAGER - ERP - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Minimum 7 - 10 years of project management experience with at least 5 years specifically in ERP implementations
  • Demonstrated experience managing municipal or public sector ERP projects
  • Proven track record leading projects involving Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of ERP functional modules (Finance, HR, Asset Management, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse stakeholder groups

PROJECT MANAGER - ERP – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Previous experience working with MNP or similar consulting firms
  • Alberta municipal government experience
  • Additional certifications in Change Management (Prosci, APMG, etc.)
  • Experience with Agile/Hybrid project management methodologies
  • Background in business process reengineering
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the single point of contact and central conduit for all internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate project activities between teams and consulting services (vendor)
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and milestone tracking
  • Facilitate cross-departmental workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
  • Manage the relationship with MNP and ensure contract deliverables are met
  • Organize and lead regular project status meetings and progress reporting
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout all phases
