QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the construction or a relevant industry.
  • Understanding of materials, building codes, construction techniques, and market pricing.
  • Proficient in utilizing Adobe Pro and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with AutoCAD drafting.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and drive projects forward while ensuring team collaboration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Committed to continuous improvement.
  • Possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

Asset:

  • Previous education and experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) designation.
  • Degree in construction management, architecture, civil engineering, quantity surveying, or a similar discipline that has been successfully completed.

ROLE SUMMARY

Titan is seeking a motivated and results-driven Project Manager/Estimator to join our growing team and help lead the way in delivering successful construction projects. As Titan expands its presence in the Pacific region with a new office in British Columbia, you’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in driving business development and shaping the future of the company. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing project timelines, providing accurate estimates, and ensuring resources and budgets are efficiently allocated. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze project drawings, conduct material take-offs, and obtain supplier quotes while ensuring specifications are met and preparing detailed proposals and bid packages.
  • Accurately assess bid packages to determine project duration and cost, considering labor, equipment, materials, and facility requirements and create detailed proposals. Coordinate project documents, including pricing, change orders, invoices, and contracts, ensuring timely approvals and managing project closeout.
  • Review contracts with general contractors and subcontractors.
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors, customers, and internal teams (field, sales, estimators, project managers) to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, communicating financial details to the team, and scheduling resources efficiently to avoid interruptions.
  • Remain current on product knowledge and build relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and manufacturers to secure future leads and projects addressing any issues efficiently.
  • Schedule staff efficiently for all projects and manage installation and delivery dates with customers. Ensuring optimal use of resources to prevent bottlenecks and inefficacies.
  • Analyze project outcomes, identifying lessons learned and implementing improvements for future projects.
  • Travel as needed to engage with clients, support sales efforts, and build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Training and utilization of internal Estimating, project management and scheduling software’s and programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
