We are looking for responsible individuals to join our team and train in all aspects of construction work! ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES – you come in on the ground floor, work for us and grow with us. GPC is seeking an Project Manager / Estimator in Training to work under an experienced construction manager in the planning and delivery of construction projects. They will help ensure that the work is completed on time and within budget. They will organize logistics, delegate work, and keep track of budget. The person will also assist with and learn to estimate costs for projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: Developmental position for project manager and/or estimator Plan review/coordination with designers and Project Manager Construction submittal review/coordination Schedule creation/management Develop preliminary/conceptual budgets. Subcontract administration Develop take-offs and cost estimates. Job Cost Management Coordination with onsite project team REQUIREMENTS: General knowledge of commercial construction principles/practices or a desire to pursue a career in this field Previous experience in the commercial construction industry A bachelors degree or working towards a bachelors degree in the construction industry is a plus Computer proficiency/familiarity with Microsoft office suite Desire to learn/advance. Strong math skills Ability to multi-task Close attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good Driving record & Valid Driver's License WHY GPC?
