Basic Salary: £60-70,000 dependant on experience

QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM):

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Project Manager in a fast-paced environment, preferably within financial services
  • Excellent communication, presentation and training delivery skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and with different learning styles

QUALIFICATIONS (ADDITIONAL)

  • Ability to multi-task and deliver multiple projects on an ongoing basis
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical and data interrogation
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Up to date and working knowledge of all relevant legislation and regulation as stipulated by the FCA
  • Must be prepared to complete requirement gathering, process mapping, project documentation etc themselves and not rely on stakeholders or support to complete
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As Project Manager you’ll be responsible for overseeing projects, project related activities and completion of documentation. You’ll see the project through from launch to roll out and will monitor and report on progress throughout the process.
You must be willing to complete all project support work themselves i.e. requirement gathering, process mapping and all project documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan the delivery of projects and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organisation
  • Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organisation and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the project
  • Ensure that project activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organisation
  • Ensure that project activities comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards
  • Develop forms and records to document project activities
  • Oversee the collection and maintenance of records on the clients of the project for statistical purposes according to the confidentiality/privacy policy of the organisation
  • Ensure that personnel files for the project are properly maintained and kept confidential
  • Liaise with other managers & stakeholders to ensure the effective and efficient project delivery
  • Coordinate the delivery of services among different project activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency
  • Write reports on the project for management and shareholders
  • Ensure that the project operate within the approved budget
  • Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures
  • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with project activities and take appropriate action to control the risks
  • Report evaluation findings to the Executive Director and recommend changes to enhance the project, as appropriate
