OVERVIEW

We are looking for experienced Project Managers to join us at Expleo, supporting a high-impact transformation programme for a client within the defence sector. This role focuses on the implementation of an Operational Model system and digital tools strategy to drive continuous improvement across the New Business & Transformation Team.
The successful candidate will lead cross-functional initiatives including secure communication infrastructure, digital enablement, and productivity enhancement. This is a client-facing role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, planning, and delivery capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Desirable Certifications: MAPM, PMP, Prince2, Agile Scrum Master

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Hands-on Project Management and Operational Management experience.
  • Strong understanding of Knowledge Management principles.
  • Ability to pragmatically assess feasibility of solutions within programme timelines.
  • Experience in digital transformation and tool implementation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office Suite.

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience leading transformation projects involving digital enablement and operational model implementation.
  • Track record of delivering secure communication infrastructure and cross-border collaboration tools.
  • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and productivity optimisation.
  • Background in defence, aerospace, or complex engineering environments is desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities
  • Project Management support for the Secure Communication strand of the Transformation Strategy, including network implementation between UK and Italy.
  • Define and deliver the Digital Tools Strategy, including gap analysis of current toolsets and user story alignment.
  • Own the digital tools roadmap and provide monthly updates to stakeholders and project teams.
  • Document rollout plans for digital tools including process, knowledge transfer, and training materials.
  • Ensure digital tools are implemented to maximise productivity and usability.
  • Act as SME and point of contact for all digital connectivity queries.
  • Identify and implement additional digital efficiency opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across programme, including productivity tracking and transformation delivery.
