Description
A Day in the Life of a Project Manager at ID3 At ID3, project managers are the driving force that turn creative concepts into real-world builds. From custom fabrication and scenic environments to complex experiential projects, our PMs ensure every detail moves from design to installation seamlessly. If you thrive in a fast-paced fabrication environment, enjoy solving complex challenges, and know how to keep multiple teams aligned, this may be the role for you. WHAT A DAY LOOKS LIKE ✔ Start the day reviewing project timelines, production schedules, and shop priorities to keep builds moving forward. ✔ Meet with design, fabrication, and production teams to review drawings, materials, and fabrication requirements for upcoming projects. ✔ Communicate with clients, designers, and internal teams to ensure project expectations, budgets, and timelines stay aligned. ✔ Coordinate across departments including carpentry, scenic, metal, paint, and graphics to keep projects on schedule. ✔ Review shop progress, address challenges, and work with teams to solve problems quickly and efficiently. ✔ Track budgets, change orders, and project costs while ensuring the project stays on scope. ✔ Prepare projects for shipping, installation, and site execution, making sure every detail is ready for a successful delivery. THE EXPERIENCE THAT MAKES SOMEONE SUCCESSFUL AT ID3 ✔ Background in custom fabrication, scenic builds, exhibits, experiential environments, or themed builds ✔ Ability to manage multiple complex projects at once ✔ Strong communication between clients, designers, and production teams ✔ Understanding of how projects move from concept → engineering → fabrication → installation ✔ Comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-moving shop environment At ID3, project managers don’t just manage schedules — they help bring creative ideas to life through craftsmanship and collaboration. If you have experience managing custom fabrication or experiential build projects, we’d love for you to apply!
