JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Facilities and Infrastructure to lead and deliver engineering projects and maintenance programs across farm and estate properties for the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi. The role includes project planning, execution, budget management, and supervision of all related infrastructure and technical systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering or project management for facilities or infrastructure
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, HVAC, solar panels, and agricultural facility systems
  • Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of workplace safety standards and technical regulations
  • EU passport is mandatory

DUTIES

  • Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and milestones
  • Manage engineering projects end-to-end: from concept to delivery, ensuring technical accuracy and timely completion
  • Monitor project costs, progress, and compliance with specifications and internal standards
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation: reports, plans, and change logs
  • Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies for potential upgrades and new initiatives
  • Work closely with senior engineers and management to implement effective project methodologies
  • Oversee maintenance operations of all physical assets: greenhouses, buildings, cooling systems, cold rooms, and machinery
  • Lead inspections and ensure maintenance schedules are followed for all infrastructure and farm equipment (tractors, irrigation systems, vehicles, etc.)
  • Monitor and improve farm infrastructure, including roads, fences, drainage, and solar systems
  • Identify and implement advanced technology solutions (especially greenhouse cooling systems)
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective resource use
  • Lead a team of maintenance personnel, technicians, and subcontractors while enforcing safety protocols and operational standards
