JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems within our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of fire safety regulations, as well as the ability to lead projects and manage teams effectively. The Fire Engineer will work closely with various departments to gather requirements, analyse data, and implement solutions that enhance fire safety measures.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage teams involved in fire safety projects and maintenance activities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues related to fire safety systems.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders to ensure all fire protection needs are met.
  • Utilise ERP systems for tracking project progress and resource allocation.
  • Implement effective time management strategies to meet project deadlines.
  • Oversee cost control measures to ensure projects remain within budget.
  • Demonstrate leadership by guiding team members and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation regarding fire safety protocols and updates.
  • Employ project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Basecamp for planning and execution of projects.
  • Maintain organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to safety standards.
  • Document processes and share knowledge using tools like Confluence, SharePoint, or ServiceNow.
  • Analyse data related to fire safety performance using SAS or other analytical tools.
  • Prepare presentations on fire safety initiatives for stakeholders using Visio or similar software.
  • Engage in product management activities related to fire safety systems and technologies.
