SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Engineering, or a combination of relatable education and experience, and 3 to 5 years working in a project management role
  • Project Management certification (PMP or Prince2) is strongly preferred, and/or prior experience leading business process engineering or optimization initiatives
  • Strong organizational skills and sense of business operations with a focus on continuous improvement and execution
  • Ability to take a deep dive into corporate operations and help establish best practice methods and procedures
  • Very high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Office365 strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with property management, and/or a Condo/Rental Management license would be an asset
  • Prior experience working with a client accounting software would be an asset
Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and documentation. Coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Conduct regular updates and reviews with stakeholders. Inclusive of upcoming projects:


    • Payment Solutions: Lead the discovery, design, and implementation of third-party payment solutions, including resident, point of sale, and online payments. Oversee secure, efficient transaction processing and stakeholder collaboration.

    • Global Accounting Software: Implement global accounting software across markets, ensuring localization, integration, and end-user training.
    • Operational Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for technical and operational challenges, driving innovation and efficiency. Support banking conversions and PCard implementation initiatives.
    • Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth system and process adoption.
    • Standardization & Process Improvement: Standardize accounting practices across markets and collaborate with leadership to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
    • Cross-Market Coordination: Work with regional teams to adapt strategies to market-specific needs while maintaining alignment with organizational goals.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as liaison between internal teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure clear communication.
    • Risk & Performance Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and track KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
    • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.
    • Compliance & Standards: Adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards and policies, ensuring high levels of professional and ethical conduct.
    • Additional Tasks: Participate in meetings, safety protocols, and special projects as required.
