Our core values as are: Genuine - Curious - Creative - Committed - Impactful The Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing the successful execution of project installations. This role works closely with Customers, Project Teams, Warehouse, Delivery, and Installation Teams, and third-party contractors. They assist in project initiation to develop critical deliverables and milestones, high-level budgets, and project schedules. The Project Manager is responsible for following standard work and established processes, meeting performance goals and metrics, and recommending business process improvements. They drive profitable growth by promoting Fluid Services and controlling project costs while delivering a Best In Class customer experience. Requirements Understand end-user requirements and objectives including project scope and key deliverables. Prepare work back schedule including milestones. Provide high-level estimates for labor hours/installation duration, project management estimating, and the overall delivery and installation schedule. Complete an initial site visit to gather detailed information for labor estimates and project planning. Develop tagging, sequencing, and phasing plans and review them with the Project Team. Validate all labor estimates for accuracy and complete scope of work. Attend construction meetings and conduct regular site visits prior to project start in conjunction with the Field Supervisor for the project. Complete a detailed logistics review for project planning and estimating. Interface with construction contractors, electricians, low-voltage contractors, and building management. Collaborate with Field Supervisor to update scheduling instructions, manpower and skill set requirements, and endure installation resources are aligned with labor estimates. Set goals and expectations for all team members including communication and escalation plans. Monitor and control project installation schedule, resources and budget. Provide regular project updates and communicate issues or risks to the Project Team. Review project financials and profitability. Provide suggestions for continuous improvement from project retrospective meetings. Qualifications and Skills Foster a people-centric culture by embracing Fluid’s Core Values. Other Job Requirements 3+ years of progressive experience in the commercial furniture industry, construction management, or project management. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must have a valid Driver’s License. Must be able to lift, push or pull a minimum of 25 lbs.
