REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field
  • Proven working experience in curtain wall management
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Knowledge of building and construction
  • Maths knowledge
  • Leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Able to use a computer and the main software packages competently
Responsibilities
  • Liaise and coordination between clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors
  • Plan and manage site activities, ensure works are executed in accordance to approved plans/drawings and contract specifications
  • Overall project management, planning and control, costing, budgeting and cash flow planning
  • Ability to lead workers, supervisors and subcontractors and resolve any site issues
  • Ensure compliance of workplace safety, delivery of work according to project schedule, ensure quality of work
  • Take initiative in decision-making and problem-solving within your areas of responsibility
  • Setting targets, objectives and responsibilities for all supervised staff
  • Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Regularly review timings, budget, labour, risk and project plans to ensure work stays on track
  • Reporting to clients and board members on project progress
  • Recommending policy and procedure improvements
  • Monitoring performance against agreed criteria
  • Ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled, and the delivery of high-quality work within contract timescales
  • Dealing with contract disputes and mitigating the impact of any issues
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned
