Our current business scale is approximately 500,000 lines. MVNO Business Department provides project support, operational quality management, and design assistance for SIM distribution initiatives (such as shareholder benefits) undertaken by various Rakuten business units. We manage each SIM distribution project involving numerous stakeholders within Rakuten, including BPO, delivery, and systems vendors. These initiatives attract significant internal attention, offering opportunities to participate in the rapid launch of dynamic projects. Position: Why We Hire Recruitment for additional staff. Within the Rakuten Group, SIM distribution initiatives continue to expand from the perspective of enhancing customer loyalty across various services, and have come to play an increasingly vital role within the company. Within this context, multiple new initiatives often proceed simultaneously. We are recruiting for this position with the expectation that individuals with project management experience will drive the management of these initiatives. Position Details In addition to project management duties (progress management, issue management, cost management, schedule management, etc.) for new initiatives (projects), you will be responsible for overall management including process design and requirements definition for system construction. Specifically: - Defining project objectives, scope, schedule, budget, and resources - Creating, updating, and managing progress of the work breakdown structure (WBS) - Scrutinising, evaluating risks, and considering countermeasures - Managing cost forecasts and actuals - Coordinating, communicating, and setting up/facilitating meetings between relevant departments - Preparing project progress reports and performance reports Work Environment MVNO Operation Section is broadly divided into two groups: Process Standardization Group and Project Implementation Operation Group. These comprise three and five members respectively. With members possessing diverse backgrounds including project management, problem-solving skills, and operational experience, the department drives the development of new initiatives and operational improvements. Mandatory Qualifications: - At least three years' experience as a Project Manager or Project Direction Desired Qualifications: - Operational knowledge or project experience within the telecommunications industry (particularly MVNO/MNO) - Knowledge of MNO services, networks, billing systems, customer management systems, etc. - Experience in business process design and improvement, including BPR (Business Process Reengineering), and project experience in operational efficiency and optimisation - Experience in system requirements definition and design: Experience translating business requirements into system requirements and collaborating with external vendors and development teams to advance concrete designs. - Vendor management experience (negotiating contracts with multiple external vendors, progress management, quality control, and cost management) - English proficiency #business #communicationsandenergy #director #projectmanager Languages: Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent) In Japanese, Rakuten stands for ‘optimism.’ It means we believe in the future.
