Our client is a respected Brisbane-based commercial builder known for complex work, and they're looking for an A-grade Project Manager who wants genuine autonomy and accountability. You'll run projects like an owner, not an employee, across complex commercial builds, refurbishments and remedial works, often in live, operational environments.

The role

• Take full ownership of projects from tender handover through to completion
• Manage programs, budgets, variations and risk
• Lead client relationships with councils, government, shopping centres and body corporates
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and consultants
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and compliance

About you

• Proven experience delivering complex commercial projects in Queensland
• Strong commercial and contract management skills
• Experience in operational or occupied sites (highly regarded)
• Tertiary qualifications in construction, building or similar
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
