The Opportunity: As a Project Manager within the Canterbury region, you will be responsible for the management of the overall direction, co-ordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific transport infrastructure projects across Canterbury. You will work hard to ensure your projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard. In addition to the above you will: Lead the project team in the successful execution and delivery of roading construction projects. Manage and direct contract administration, understanding contractual requirements and expectations. Set performance expectations with Engineers, Foremen/Supervisors and construction crews. Monitor performance and address any issues. Ensure consistent forward planning, while organising subcontractors, material, plant and people. To be successful in this role, you will have: Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager delivering projects. Extensive knowledge in civil and other related industries. Relevant tertiary qualification Demonstrated leadership capability with a strong focus on people, safety and quality Ability to develop positive relationships with clients and internal/external teams Be reliable and self-driven to ensure continued success in your role You will be a supportive and collaborative leader with a passion for developing and growing talent.
