Job Description About Wellington Transport Alliance The Wellington Transport Alliance (WTA) is a collaborative partnership between NZ Transport Agency, Fulton Hogan, and WSP. Together, the alliance is responsible for managing the maintenance and operations programme for the state highways and roading networks across the Greater Wellington Region. The WTA is committed to delivering high service standards to both the region’s road users and the Greater Wellington region network. The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager. This role is responsible for providing onsite engineering and supervisory support for the safe and efficient delivery of asset renewals and non-TOC projects by NOP subcontractors and/or external subcontractors. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervise onsite asset renewals and non-TOC projects to ensure safe, timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery. Identify and mitigate risks, guarantee proper use of PPE and safety equipment, and manage project costs whilst supporting wider team financial performance. Lead daily and monthly meetings with crews and ensure all required documentation is completed (timesheets, job sheets, inspections, plant sheets, quality and hazard checks). Report, record, and respond to emergencies, incidents, spills, and near misses, including stopping work and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Ensure all work meets quality standards, final inspections are completed and recorded, and any required rework is carried out. Contribute engineering knowledge and site observations to Forward Works Program discussions.
