What You Will Get To Do: As a Project Manager, you will lead and empower a cross-functional team—including product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA—using best-practice methodologies to ensure delivery aligns with agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, business objectives, and governance measures. In this role, you will also be responsible for managing and nurturing client and key stakeholder relationships. You will oversee timely and accurate reporting, including updates, RAID logs, budget controls, and resource requirements while ensuring compliance with internal frameworks and governance standards. Accountable for delivery of large and complex Projects such as Client Initiatives, Acquisitions, Lift outs, Transitions and Strategic Product initiatives for the SS&C Fund Services business. Planning and designing the project and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action Adhering to SS&C’s governance and delivery frameworks Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the project Managing the projects budget on behalf of the senior responsible owner, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realising benefits. Facilitating the appointment of individuals to project teams Ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget. Ensuring there is allocation of common resources and skills within the project. Managing third party contributions to the project Managing communications with stakeholders Managing risks to the projects successful outcome Working with the business change manager or equivalent on the transition to the new business as usual position. Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the project are identified or issues arise Reporting the progress of the project What You Will Bring: Minimum 5 – 10 years’ experience in Project Management. Experience in delivering IT, People and Administration projects within Financial Services. Ideally including transitions for investment managers, asset servicing providers (e.g. Fund Admin, Custody, TA), superannuation and pension funds administrators, and mergers and acquisitions. Demonstrated proven track record in planning, executing and delivering large complex programs/projects on time and on budget. Seasoned Project Management practitioner with experience delivery large Programs of work and managing C level stakeholders relationships. Can Network effectively, negotiate well and influence people at all levels within an organisation. Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills The ability to command respect and to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling program’s Sound business case development and approvals skills Good understanding of the procurement process including negotiation with third parties Good knowledge of program and project management methods including MSP and Prince2 Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on their projects in relation to the program The ability to find ways of solving or pre-empting problems We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds to enable us to bring diverse perspectives to our thinking and conversation.
