Freelance Structural Engineering Project Manager (German Speaking)

A leading engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Structural Engineering Project Manager to support the delivery of industrial and commercial construction projects in the Karlsruhe region.

• Key ResponsibilitiesLead structural engineering projects from planning through to delivery.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and quality standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Oversee project reporting, forecasting, and change management.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety requirements, and quality procedures.

• RequirementsDegree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• 10+ years' experience in structural engineering or engineering consultancy.
• Proven project management experience on industrial and commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls, contract management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Fluent German and professional English.
• Willingness to attend site and client meetings as required.
