Responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the team at Galliford Try within our Asset Intelligence Business.

Ideally, you will based in or around the Warrington area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region.

  • Manage end-to-end project delivery, from pre-construction through to handover and close-out.
  • Lead project teams including design, commercial, construction, and commissioning functions.
  • Take full ownership of programme, cost, quality, and risk across assigned projects.
  • Operate confidently under NEC contracts (ECC Option A/C/E), including early warning management, compensation events, and programme updates.
  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial Manager to manage budgets, forecast cost-to-complete, and deliver margin targets.
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement and performance, ensuring works align with technical specs and contract obligations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear communication and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Champion health, safety, environment, and well-being on site, ensuring alignment with company and legislative standards.
  • Lead contract progress meetings and contribute to internal reporting, governance, and business improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure quality assurance, commissioning protocols, and regulatory compliance are rigorously adhered to in water, security, and fire systems installations.
