Job Description Summary With the support of PD/SPM, the Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall execution of Power Conversion projects for the SEC Phase-II Bulk Program, including, management of consortium type org. structure, EPC interfaces, and adherence to program execution strategy (PES) to drive standard work in project execution across the program’s portfolios. The successful candidate would be accountable from Contract signature up to securing project FACs and successfully closing GEV’s contractual obligations. Job Description Essential Responsibilities As the successful candidate, you will have ownership and accountability from start to finish of the assigned projects. Including, effective communication with customers, cross-functional teams, EPCs, and Customer Consultants. This generally encompasses but is not limited to. Primary point of contact for the customer on assigned projects. Must have strong customer centric attitude. Consortium leadership of Power Conversion suppliers, partners, and management of external stakeholders (customer, EPCs, Eng. consultants). Accountable for SQDC metrics and prioritizing GEV way Drive STOP WORK culture and EHS life saving rules Active leadership in quality processes and applying lean practices in project organization and influencing supply chain to ensure NCR mitigation. Timely delivery of GEV’s supply scope and engineering studies. Involved in Project Profit & Loss (P&L), margin improvement, cash collection, and bonds management. Knowledge of Contract and technical books of the project. Responsible to ensure cross-functional teams are also aware of the Contract and GEV’s obligations. Develop and continually maintain risk & opportunity registers throughout the project Working knowledge of Equipment (synchronous condensers, circuit breakers, transformers, etc.) and performance guarantees. Support development of project schedules, vet the regular schedule updates, have strategy for critical path analysis including concurrent delay claims. Working knowledge on logistics incoterms, including DDP scope and risks. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or equivalent. Minimum 7 years’ experience in the energy industry with focus on Project Management. Must be fluent in Arabic and English (verbal and written). The legal right to work in Saudi Arabia (KSA) without Company Sponsorship Desired Characteristics Experience with EPC / Interface Management. Willingness to be relocated across different project locations of the program. Self-starter with high discipline, able to deliver and lead cross functional teams to success. Ability to manage cross-functional teams Leadership skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. Analytical, problem solving, facilitation, organization, and planning skills. Ability to manage escalations, site challenges, supply chains, etc. Lean mindset, eliminate waste and create circular feedback for business improvement Experience with scheduling software i.e. primavera P6. Experience working in GEV Power Conversion Commissioning/Installation.
