Job Description Summary We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead the successful execution of large-scale EPC/turnkey/Supply/Service projects within the power and utilities sector. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle—from design and engineering through procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and final handover—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The position requires strong technical expertise in high-voltage electrical projects, combined with solid commercial acumen, leadership capability, and customer-facing experience. Job Description What will you do: Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale EPC/turnkey projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual, technical, and quality requirements. Manage the full project lifecycle from engineering and design through procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and final handover. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project planning tools, ensuring proper resource allocation and proactive progress tracking. Drive effective stakeholder management, acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams. Ensure strict adherence to contract terms, manage variations/claims, and mitigate contractual risks while protecting company interests. Monitor and control project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin optimization. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, implementing robust risk management strategies throughout the project lifecycle. Lead multidisciplinary project teams, fostering collaboration across engineering, procurement, quality, and site execution functions. Ensure compliance with quality standards, HSE requirements, and regulatory frameworks throughout all project phases. Oversee procurement and supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services aligned with project specifications. Drive technical problem-solving and decision-making, applying advanced engineering and quality assurance principles to resolve complex challenges. Ensure successful project commissioning, testing, and acceptance in line with client expectations and contractual obligations. Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction through proactive communication, issue resolution, and service excellence. Coordinate multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously, prioritizing activities to meet both short-term milestones and long-term objectives. Prepare and present regular project reports, including progress, risks, financial status, and key performance indicators to senior management and stakeholders. What will you bring: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 3 years in project manager role. Proven track record in delivering large-scale EPC/turnkey projects preferably HV substations, power, utilities, or industrial projects. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, risk management, and contract management. Proficiency in project planning tools. Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness. What will make you stand out: Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus. Prior experience in managing high voltage electrical utility project Previous responsibility for projects or programs involving multiple businesses and/or functions across the entire project cycle - development and design through manufacturing, delivery, installation, and commissioning and test acceptance. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage external, customer-facing projects to successful completion. Ability to apply advanced technical, engineering, and quality assurance concepts to solve practical business problems. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service quality in all aspects of project delivery. Strong decision-making skills Strong French and English oral and written communications skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple long and short-term projects simultaneously. PMI certification is a plus Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving abilities. Familiarity with contractual terms and experience managing customer-facing contracts.
