Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Manager will oversee all projects across the organization including, but not limited to, budgeting, allocating resources, monitoring progress and transparent communication along the way. REPORTS TO: Chief Operations Officer SUPERVISES: N/A ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Determine and define project scope and objectives. Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective manner. Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements. Track projects costs to meet budget. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan. Provide project updates on a consistent basis about strategy, adjustment, and progress. Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables. Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution. Monitor progress and adjust as needed. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement. Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position. Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes. Requirements EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Engineering Degree preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent, is required. Previous project planning and team management experience required. COMPETENCIES: Travel is required approximately 25% of each month. Self-starter that takes initiative with high attention to detail. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills with the ability to lead and motivate. Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs. Physical Requirements: Sedentary work. Involves sitting most of the time. Visual Acuity: ability to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned, including to make general observations of facilities.
