Description
Responsible for leading the successful execution of New Product Introduction (NPI), New Technology Introduction (NTI),and Standard Transition (STP) projects, with a primary focus on electro-mechanical and connected product development for GEIS Americas. This role drives customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and program financial performance through effective management of programs, contracts, and business relationships. Key responsibilities include maintaining proactive communication with project teams to track schedules and milestones, preparing comprehensive project status reports for management, and ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting, and control of schedules and budgets. In this role you will: Lead Complex Projects: Manage New Product Introduction (NPI), New Technology Introduction (NTI), and Technology Exploration projects with full Responsibility, Authority, and Accountability (RAA) for scope, technical delivery, schedule, cost, and quality. Agile Leadership: Drive and lead Scrum teams, ensuring adherence to agile principles, values, and agreed-upon processes. Strategic Direction: Establish objectives and goals, providing guidance on customer concerns, scope changes, and risk assessments. Customer & Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective communication with customers and stakeholders, manage expectations, and ensure contractual commitments are met internally and externally. Program Governance: Utilize standard program management processes, coordinate PM reviews, and publish metrics and reports. Performance Tracking: Maintain earned value metrics (CPI/SPI), quality, technical performance, and delivery across all PROLaunch phases. Risk & Requirement Coordination: Plan, control, and integrate all project activities to meet requirements and achieve goals. Status Reporting: Provide periodic updates (Green/Yellow/Red) on milestones, risks, and issues to business units and divisional leadership. Change Management: Ensure effective change control processes are implemented and followed. Scorecard Development: Participate in creating and implementing development project scorecards. Reporting Tools: Identify and develop tools for project status, burn-down charts, and scheduled completions. Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing to align systems with product strategy and growth objectives. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Program Management; or a combination of Program Management with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing/SCM, or Product Development. No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Highland, IL to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, Finance, or Engineering Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) Previous team leadership, supervision or leader of people experience Experience in Requirements and Risk Management Previous experience in leading projects of various type/scope/risk levels and experience in multiple functional domain areas would be beneficial to success in this role
