With continued growth and around $2 billion of work-in-hand nationally, our Darwin team has recently secured an exciting project win in the Northern Territory and with some exciting projects (Defense (civils) and Road Infrastructure (including bridges) in the pipeline, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic Darwin based team.
As a Project Manager you will work closely with key stakeholders across our Darwin projects, building effective relationships that facilitate the successful delivery of our projects.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Extensive experience in a project management role within the Civils and Infrastructure space / construction industry
- High level of proficiency in planning, cost control, communication, reporting and contracts administration
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC and HSE processes
- An excellent team player
- Strong communication skills and the ability to drive a project team
- Degree in Engineering or Construction Management

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, management and guidance to the project team to exceed client expectations for programs and processes, finances, HSEQ management, procurement, contracts and stakeholder relationships
- Develop and implement all aspects of Project Management Plan(s)
- Plan, select, negotiate and monitor suppliers, contractors/subcontractors and consultants, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
- The safe and efficient delivery of projects through planning and managing construction in accordance with design requirements, time and cost constraints while achieving profit objectives
- Identifying, assessing and controlling project risks
- Preparing and reporting on the project financial position against budget
- Liaising with our clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to build and enhance the Georgiou reputation
- Optimise the use of human and material resources to achieve desired outcomes
- Lead the project team to maintain a positive, energetic and unified workforce culture
