Responsibilities GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide cable installation and removal services to our client in and around the Baltimore area. This is an onsite position, working at a physical location in the region. This position is responsible for planning, leading and organizing project teams to achieve a high level of performance. The overall goal is to deliver projects on time and within budget. The Project Manager should be able to manage project(s) in a fast-paced environment. Ability to direct personnel to perform installations with no disruption of service or interference of the computer equipment. Address/process all types of administrative matters dealing with the contract and all other contractor personnel. Administer personnel records and recording time and leave. Interview and onboard experienced contract personnel when needed. Navigate Microsoft Office software to provide computer database updates, reports, spreadsheets and e-mail communications using a PC (Personal Computer) workstation. Qualifications Minimum of ten (10) years project management experience or five (5) years experience as a Project Manager with five (5) years experience as a Cable Engineer. Eligible for a government security clearance. Must have certified training in the installation and maintenance of all Fiber Optic cables. Must be certified in the installation of Fiber Optic connectors and on the use of state-of-the-art testing equipment. Possess experience with access points, repeaters, data center, computer lab, Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP), direct access storage drive, mainframe, open systems and switches/routers. Requires strong organizational skills to manage, track and monitor ongoing projects. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence others to perform. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Travel may be required.
