This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients and plays a critical role in delivering high-quality outcomes while supporting team performance and business growth.   This role is located onsite in Omaha, NE with requested 20% - 30% travel including potential overnight travel   General Job Duties: * Lead all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and within scope * Serve as the main client liaison and primary point of contact for all project communications * Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and managing expectations * Manage project scope, schedules, resources, financials, and change orders * Ensure projects meet or exceed Quoted Gross Margin (QGM) targets * Schedule and manage project resources up to 20 weeks in advance * Prepare and maintain project documentation (budgets, schedules, reports, meeting notes) * Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks, issues, and escalation paths * Collaborate with technical teams to define tasks and execution strategies * Oversee subcontractors and third-party resources as needed * Ensure contractual obligations and documentation are met throughout the project lifecycle * Support sales efforts by identifying upsell opportunities and participating in client engagements * Drive operational improvements, cost savings, and process efficiencies * Represent GrayMatter at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions as needed Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed: * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field * 5–7 years of project management experience, preferably in a client-facing environment * Proven ability to manage complex projects with competing priorities * Strong project management expertise (scope, schedule, financial control) * Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client relationship skills * Financial acumen and negotiation capabilities * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project scheduling tools * Experience in industrial automation environments preferred * PMP certification or similar is a plus * Familiarity with SCADA, HMI, PLC, MES, and related industrial software is preferred Featured Benefits * Medical, dental, and vision insurance beginning day one of employment * Employer-paid short-term disability and life insurance * 401(k) with up to 4% company match * Paid holidays, paid time off, paid sick leave, and paid parental leave * Additional benefits available such as long-term disability, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, EAP, telemedicine, HSA, and FSA
