Why the job exists To deliver projects efficiently from a time and resource perspective To ensure the right processes are followed on projects Maintain and optimise internal processes where needed To ensure that clients and account management teams have up to date project tracking and budgetary information when needed What the job covers Oversight and efficient delivery of specific client projects; Project budget tracking and reconciliations; Oversight and quality control of work delivery Project financial health and profitability Internal project reporting and communications Reporting and Communication Structure The Project Manager typically reports to a Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM). Performance and progression are reviewed together with the Sr. PM. Deliverables and reviews of work should be done alongside the Sr. PM if relevant for the project. Overall account issues or concerns should be escalated to the Sr. PM, who then in turn reports into the Head of Delivery & Operations (HOD). The Project Manager should be in close communication with the Account lead for projects, and review all deliverables alongside them. Responsibilities Work with the Accounts team to drive the response to client brief, ensuring that the right team and systems are in place to deliver projects to the highest possible quality. Drive quality control and review processes across deliverables. Set up project and deliverable timelines and manage the required team members to hit these timelines. Manage internal team expectations on project timings and provide status updates on how the work is progressing. Set up and tracking project budget reconciliations, using third party costs and internal timesheets. Apply a close eye to detail, ensuring all deliverables outlined in briefs and proposals are delivered. Develop positive relationships with third parties and suppliers, ensuring that they are motivated to deliver good quality work for us. Negotiate costs and timelines with third parties and suppliers, manage their day-to-day deliverables for Greenpark, and provide a level of quality control to their work. Ensure that the right internal team members input into deliverables at the right time, to ensure a proper quality control process is followed. Provide regular status updates to the AM and internal teams and, where needed, the client. Ensure that the correct Greenpark processes are followed internally, and help optimise these processes as needed. Business Development and Commercial Performance Individual client and project targets are set as part of the wider team and business targets. The Project Manager should help deliver work on time and on budget, to help the team upsell and develop the accounts further. The Project Manager should ensure that work is progressed at a good pace and to a high quality, and keep the clients updated on this progress, so that scopes can be closed to a high standard and new scopes raised. Financial The PM should monitor and document how a project is tracking financially. This is so that client and internal stakeholder questions can be answered, and any budget tracking risks can be flagged internally. Report back to the Sr. PM and/or HOD and finance team on the financial health of a project or account where relevant alongside the account lead. Stay up to date on the finance team’s internal project tracking process and adhere to this, with relevant updates provided as needed. The PM should drive project efficiencies, ensure work is profitable, and contribute to forecasting. Performance review and personal development By the Sr. Project Manager on the basis of: Successful project delivery and client satisfaction; Contribution to account profitability Overall quality of outputs; Peer feedback from colleagues, collated by line manager; Relationship with other operating companies/departments; Interpersonal / communication skills; Being a team player; Demonstrating the core values of Greenpark; Being an effective coach/manager to junior members of the team;
