Project Manager Location: Falkirk Salary: Competitive Contract Type: Permanent Looking for a Project Manager role where you can take full ownership of delivery from start to finish? Join us to lead civil engineering and infrastructure projects — ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a hands-on role, managing site teams, programmes, and client relationships while driving performance across every stage of the project lifecycle. What you’ll do; Manage the full lifecycle of projects from planning through to completion Deliver works to agreed timelines, budgets, and specifications Develop and maintain project programmes, tracking progress and performance Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient delivery Allocate labour, plant, and materials to maximise productivity Conduct site inspections and monitor performance against programme and standards Create and manage safe systems of work, including RAMS Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities Oversee quality assurance, inspections, audits, and project handovers Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout delivery What you’ll get; Full ownership of projects, from planning through to successful delivery Opportunity to work on varied civil engineering and infrastructure projects A high level of autonomy with support from an experienced team Ongoing development to strengthen your technical and leadership skills Clear progression opportunities within a growing organisation Exposure to all aspects of project delivery, from commercial to operational A safety-first culture with strong systems and support in place The chance to lead teams and make a visible impact on project success What we’re looking for; Proven experience managing civil engineering or infrastructure projects Strong understanding of construction methodologies (e.g. highways, drainage, utilities, earthworks) Experience managing budgets and commercial performance Good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards Strong leadership and team management skills HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering SMSTS (essential) Black CSCS Card (essential) Desirable: NEBOSH or IOSH Temporary Works Coordinator Appointed Person (Lifting) NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management (or working towards) Knowledge of CDM Regulations (2015) What to expect from our recruitment process at Ground Control We aim to make our process clear, supportive, and straightforward - so you always know what’s coming next. Responsibilities
