We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Emergency Response Planning (ERP) Services. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading the research, development, and execution of cutting-edge emergency response plans.
This role requires strategic project planning, meticulous execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will engage directly with clients, ensuring their unique needs are met, while maintaining compliance with industry standards. Your influence extends to developing internal tools and leveraging technology to enhance project outcomes.
BONUS EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in business administration or relevant field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Previous experience managing a team.
- Familiarity with the Emergency Response Planning industry to understand client requirements and industry trends.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of GIS and engineering principles.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
- Define clear project objectives aligned with company strategy and client needs.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis to address challenges and align communication.
- Develop comprehensive project plans adhering to client requirements and managing budgets.
- Assess risks, develop mitigation plans, and manage variances effectively.
Cross-Departmental Coordination:
- Establish clear communication channels and meeting schedules for alignment on project metrics, ensuring that relevant departments are informed and included in project scope updates.
- Share project timelines and integrate departmental tasks with project deliverables.
- Collaborate with departments to resolve issues and align resolutions with capabilities.
- Monitor and improve cross-departmental collaboration effectiveness through feedback loops.
Client Collaboration:
- Identify client plan improvement opportunities within existing client base.
- Conduct quarterly client meetings for satisfaction assessment.
- Ensure completion of project quotes and necessary documentation.
- Manage client communication, feedback, and program administration.
Compliance & Industry Standards:
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards for emergency response planning, conducting comprehensive analysis and integrating compliance into project planning phases.
Training & Tool Development:
- Support the development of best practices, processes, and tools for project execution, while supporting the training and mentoring of new Project Administrators and Project Managers.
