MANAGER: DIRECTOR, PROJECT OPERATIONS

Happy Cog is looking for a dynamic and highly organized Project Manager to join our team. In this client-facing role, you’ll be responsible for leading projects from kick-off to completion, ensuring smooth execution and successful delivery. You’ll work across various departments, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to bring exceptional digital experiences to life for our clients.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience managing medium to large-scale digital design and development projects within an interactive agency environment.
• Knowledge of web technologies, web design principles, and delivering solutions with both creative and engineering components.
• Solid understanding of core project management processes, including requirements development, scope definition, communication, budgeting, resource management, risk identification, and client engagement.
• Demonstrated experience authoring and maintaining key project documentation, such as project management plans, scope baselines, SOWs, resource plans, issue/risk logs, and status/burndown reports.
• Experience leading and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including SEO, Content, UX, Design, Development, and QA.
• Proficiency in various project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, with the ability to select and tailor the best approach for each project.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with internal departments, cross-functional teams, key senior stakeholders, and clients.
• Highly effective in problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical projects effectively.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, and to de-escalate stressful situations for others.
• Skilled at coordinating between multiple groups of project stakeholders across various locations.
