THE ROLE

Following continued growth of our project portfolio, we are expanding our Project Management team in Darwin. We are especially interested in connecting with established Project Managers with experience managing complex infrastructure projects in government, utilities or similarly regulated environments.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality client-side project outcomes while building trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Your core responsibilities would include:

• Managing project scope, program, budget, risk and reporting
• Coordinating consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary technical teams
• Leading stakeholder engagement and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting procurement, contract administration and project governance
• Managing delivery within complex or operational environments
• Identifying issues early and driving practical, high-quality outcomes

This role plays an important role in the delivery of critical infrastructure across the Northern Territory and the continued development of HK Solutions’ project management capability.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

You are a confident and practical Project Manager who can bring structure and momentum to complex projects. You communicate clearly, build trusted relationships and are comfortable working with technical, operational and senior stakeholders. You could be well suited for this opportunity if you have:

• A strong track record delivering infrastructure, utilities, engineering or construction projects
• Experience in a client-side, government, asset-owner or consultancy environment
• Strong stakeholder, commercial and project risk judgement
• An ability to make considered and well-informed decisions in complex or changing circumstances
• The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and commitment to quality delivery

Experience that will set you apart includes:

• Experience delivering essential infrastructure projects
• Exposure to government departments, statutory authorities, utilities or publicly owned corporations
• Knowledge of Northern Territory project delivery, procurement or stakeholder environments
• Qualifications in project management, engineering, construction or a related discipline
