Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a significant HR systems initiative within a large and complex organisation.

This role will be responsible for driving the delivery of a business-critical transformation project that will improve processes, user experience, data quality, and operational efficiency across the people and culture function. Working closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, vendors, and technology teams, you will oversee the delivery of a key project. This opportunity would suit a hands-on Project Manager who enjoys working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple stakeholder groups, and turning complex challenges into practical solutions.

Your new role

You will be responsible for leading project delivery activities including planning, scheduling, governance, stakeholder management, risk management, and vendor engagement. Working closely with business and technology teams, you will ensure project objectives are met, dependencies are managed, and delivery remains aligned with organisational priorities.

The role will involve engaging with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements, facilitate decision-making, manage competing priorities, and maintain momentum throughout the project life cycle. You will also support business readiness activities, oversee implementation, and ensure successful transition into operational use. A strong focus will be placed on collaboration, communication, and proactive problem-solving to ensure the project delivers measurable outcomes for both the business and end users.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a proven track record delivering HR, people systems, workforce management, learning, or enterprise application projects within complex organisations. You will be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, navigating ambiguity, and driving outcomes in dynamic environments. You will bring excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build consensus across a broad range of groups. Previous experience delivering system implementations, upgrades, migrations, or transformation initiatives is a must.

Experience with learning, talent, workforce, payroll, or broader people technology platforms will be well regarded. Exposure to change management, business readiness, and user adoption activities would also be beneficial. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is delivery-focused, adaptable, proactive, and naturally inclined to find solutions with a 'can do' attitude.

  • Location - Central NOR location providing an easy commute from most locations.
