We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 10+ years in Health IT, specializing in medical waiver systems and analytics dashboards. Proven success in delivering integrated IM/IT solutions for military medical operations across physical and virtual environments. Skilled in leading dispersed teams and managing full lifecycle system development and deployment.

PROJECT MANAGER – HEALTH IT AND MEDICAL SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUESTED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience leading Health IT teams focused on medical waiver systems and analytics dashboards in enterprise environments.
  • Deep background in supporting military medical operations, with direct experience deploying TMIP systems to remote and deployed locations.
  • Strong knowledge of IM/IT system testing in both physical and virtual settings.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of Health IT projects, from concept through deployment and sustainment, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and objectives.
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans including scope, schedule, and resource allocation; adjust plans as needed to respond to challenges.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including military clients and contractors, ensuring alignment on objectives and expectations.
  • Provide regular stakeholder updates, resolve scope issues, and ensure client satisfaction through transparent communication and timely delivery.
  • Oversee the development, integration, and sustainment of medical waivers workflow systems and analytics dashboards to support mission-critical healthcare operations.
  • Manage testing and integration of IM/IT systems in physical and virtual environments; monitor performance and lead continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide leadership for the deployment and sustainment of TMIP systems in remote and deployed military locations; troubleshoot operational or technical issues.
  • Collaborate with military stakeholders to tailor IT solutions to the dynamic needs of military medical operations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to technical, resource, or operational challenges to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Resolve project execution issues using sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, current, and compliant with organizational and security standards.
  • Enforce adherence to security protocols and clearance requirements across team members and systems.
