PROJECT MANAGER – HEALTHCARE / LABORATORY IMPLEMENTATIONS (12-MONTH CONTRACT)

Contract Duration: 12 months
Start Date: 4 August 2025
Location: Hybrid – ad hoc visits to Burgess Hill, plus client sites across the West Midlands & Wales
IR35: Inside
Right to Work: Full UK RTW required (sponsorship not available)

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid and in-date Prince2 certification (mandatory, non-negotiable).
  • Degree (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Proven track record managing medium to high-complexity projects end-to-end.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including senior-level engagement.
  • Excellent planning, governance, and risk management capabilities.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability and willingness to travel across Burgess Hill, the West Midlands, and Wales.
  • Availability to start at short notice (1 week preferred).

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of healthcare and laboratory implementation projects. This role requires strong leadership across the full project lifecycle — from tender award through to installation, governance, and handover — ensuring milestones are achieved and customer satisfaction remains high.
You will be responsible for coordinating internal teams, external stakeholders, and client laboratories while maintaining robust governance, managing risks, and resolving issues in the field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, governance, stakeholder management, installation, and completion.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and escalation for project issues, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution.
  • Oversee project installations, monitor construction progress, and coordinate suppliers and technical teams.
  • Embed consistent project management processes, templates, and reporting practices.
  • Deliver projects in line with Prince2 methodology and industry best practices.
