Description:
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals; collaborating with stakeholders across departments to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards; effectively managing technical projects; communicating with IT teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certificates, licenses and registrations required:
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum certification is advantageous.
- Computer skills required:
- Database Software (PowerBI, Access, SQL.);
- Development Software;
- Spreadsheet Software (Excel);
- Inventory Software;
- Order Processing Systems;
- Project Management Software;
- Word Processing Software (Word);
- Electronic Mail Software (Outlook);
- Presentation software (PowerPoint);
- Other skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
- Experience in IT or technology-related projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with IT systems, software development life cycles, or automation tools is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to manage both technical and non-technical projects.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable plans for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Teams, MS Project).
- Strong background in IT or technology.
Responsibilities:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plans, executes, and delivers projects according to scope, timeline, and budget.
- Works with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Develops detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Coordinates and leads cross-functional teams, ensures effective collaboration and communication.
- Monitors project performance, addresses challenges, and adapts plans as necessary.
- Facilitates communication between technical and non-technical team members.
- Conducts regular project reviews and provides updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensures proper documentation of project processes, lessons learned, and best practices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
