Job Description How you’ll make a difference AECOM’s Sydney Highways team is delivering a diverse range of transport infrastructure projects across NSW and ANZ. With a strong and growing pipeline of road and highway projects, we’re looking to connect with experienced Project Managers and Design Managers who thrive in complex infrastructure environments and enjoy leading multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project delivery. Support the delivery of major highways and transport infrastructure projects from planning and tender phases through to delivery and project completion Contribute to design management and project delivery across complex road, motorway and civil infrastructure projects Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality technical and commercial outcomes Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders across major transport projects Assist in managing project performance across programme, commercial, safety and quality outcomes Work closely with senior leaders and technical specialists across the Sydney Highways business Support client engagement, project pursuits and future growth opportunities across the team Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing culture Qualifications The qualities that help you thrive The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered. 8–10 years’ experience across highways, roads or major transport infrastructure projects Experience in Project Management and/or Design Management within multidisciplinary infrastructure environments Strong understanding of highways design, project delivery and stakeholder coordination Experience working on projects for major transport authorities or infrastructure clients across Australia Commercial awareness with the ability to manage competing priorities and project deliverables Strong communication and stakeholder management skills A collaborative mindset with a passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges and delivering quality outcomes Our Sydney Highways team is continuing to grow, with a strong pipeline of transport infrastructure work already underway and plenty more to come.
