OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a proven track record in managing projects from inception to completion. This role is essential for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with our strategic objectives. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential construction
  • Proficiency in project management software tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent data analysis skills for tracking project metrics and performance indicators.
  • Experience in requirements gathering processes to capture stakeholder needs effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
  • Priority given to those who meet BC Housing requirements for a licensed home builder
  • 5+ years of experience managing residential construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of BC Building Code, permit processes, and warranty programs (e.g., 2-5-10 coverage)
  • Experience with multi-unit wood-frame and single-family developments
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills
  • Proficient in project management software (Buildertrend, Procore, MS Project, etc.)
  • Valid BC Driver’s License and reliable transportation

Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning sessions, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress using methodologies such as Waterfall and SAFe.
  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions to ensure all stakeholder needs are understood and documented.
  • Utilize data analysis skills to assess project performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate communication among team members, ensuring that all parties are informed of project status and updates.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
