POSITION OVERVIEW
As an IT Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing multiple workstreams and projects, ensuring their successful delivery. This position requires a proactive individual who can grasp things quickly, define and manage plans, keep stakeholders accountable with coordination, and effectively handle change and readiness challenges. Your expertise in traditional and Agile project management methodologies, such as APM and Prince2, will be essential in establishing strong foundations, governance and guidanceto help evolve into agile best practices as the organisation matures.
️ Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple IT transformational projects, quickly grasping and adapting to changing needs
- Own and support incoming small change and project demand for the business.
- Define, create and manage project plans, engaging stakeholders to execute plans effectively
- Coordinate stakeholders unfamiliar with projects, guiding them through governance and delivery processes.
- Help co-ordinate and grow the organisations project management governance framework with continuous improvement and presentations to unfamiliar teams.
- Be able to present and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels, including regular contact and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team and Chief Operating Officer.
- Report to the Transformation Manager as part of the PMO team, supporting the establishment of a robust consistent and structured project lifecycle, reporting and portfolio visibility.
- Proactively identify and address pain points, ensuring smooth project execution, including risks, issues, dependencies, resource and recommendation of alternative options.
- Complete relevant documentation to support the governance of projects and adhering to best practices.
Demonstrate initiative and curiosity, quickly learning about the fleet industry to drive success

Core project management skills with a disciplined yet flexible approach
- Proven ability to bring stakeholders together, accountable and establish organised governance processes
- Drive for improvement and success and a love of project management.
- Confident in implementing processes and frameworks, with a mature and proactive mindset
- Strong communication and leadership skills to guide and motivate teams
- Curiosity and willingness to learn about the fleet industry at pace
- Experience with traditional project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Ability to present and help stakeholders of senior level understand project progress, decisions required and risks / issues.
