Description Airport Synergy Group LLC (ASG) is a Joint Venture between Avports LLC, Jacobsen|Daniels Associates LLC, and Consolidated Management Professionals. ASG brings 120+ years of collective experience in world-class commercial aviation operations. After previous cooperation and successful collaboration among its partners in the past, ASG was recently awarded the management contract to provide Property and Equipment Management Services at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), on behalf of the Tom Bradley International Terminal Equipment Co. (TBITEC). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting directly to the TBITEC ARCC Manager, the Project Manager will assist in coordinating and/or supporting a range of projects assigned to TBITEC from concept to commissioning. Depending on the magnitude of projects and the workload, the Project Manager may oversee multiple projects directly, indirectly through other Project Managers, or may assist other team members in managing projects. Projects may be equipment-related (e.g., installation, refurbishment, repairs, or upgrades), IT related, administrative projects, or organizational projects. The Project Manager will be responsible to: Lead projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring delivery aligned with scope, schedule, budget, and operational requirements Manage the design process, including coordination and review of design intent and construction documents Develop project scopes-of-work and initial needs statements to support project definition and procurement With respect to projects being managed or coordinated, serve as the primary interface with LAWA, airlines, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders Present project scope, execution strategies, and phasing plans to stakeholders and drive alignment and approvals Coordinate project execution within an active airport environment, ensuring compliance with operational constraints and nuanced work requirements Oversee construction and field activities, including contractor coordination, inspections, and work sequencing Lead ASR/USR processes, including preparation of exhibits, means & methods, and approval coordination Support and navigate permitting processes, including coordination with agencies such as Los Angeles Department of Building Services (“LADBS”) Participate in procurement activities, including RFP/RFQ package development, contractor selection, and proposal evaluation (technical and cost) Support project estimating, including ROM, conceptual, and bid-level cost development Manage project schedules, budgets, and cost controls, ensuring financial accountability Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks in live operational environments Prepare and present executive-level reports and project updates to leadership and stakeholders Collaborate with airlines, LAWA, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders as necessary to define project requirements, and develop complete scopes, timelines / milestones, and budgets; Develop risk response strategies/contingency plans; Identify procurement requirements and collaborate with the PACC Manager and the appropriate Terminal/Equipment Managers to plan and execute procurements; For internally-managed projects, assign tasks, track activity, and report on progress; For externally-managed projects impacting the Common Use (CU) Services, serve as a point of contact for LAXTEC, attend meetings, prepare reports, disseminate information; and Monitor and control quality on the project to ensure the expected results and standards are achieved. Experience managing projects in a diverse stakeholder environment. Experience managing the project design process, including coordination and review of design intent drawings and construction documents. Experience supporting and navigating permitting processes with local regulatory agencies, including Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety, is considered a plus. Experience in project estimating, including development of Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), conceptual estimates, and final/bid-level estimates. Experience developing scopes of work and initial needs statements to support project definition and procurement activities. Experience reviewing contractor proposals, including technical evaluation and cost analysis, to ensure alignment with project requirements, scope, and budget. Experience developing and managing budgets. Experience developing and managing schedules. Requirements EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Four-year degree, in Business Administration or a related discipline, is preferred. CAPM or PMP certification preferred. Experience in the aviation field is a plus. Must be eligible to obtain all Airport staff access and security clearances from the Authorities.
