In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of substation projects involving high voltage power systems. Responsibilities Manage and oversee the entire lifecycle of substation projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery. Develop comprehensive project plans, including objectives, timelines, and resource management strategies specific to substation construction and upgrades. Coordinate with engineering teams and contractors to ensure all design and installation work meets regulatory and safety standards. Identify project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to address potential challenges. Serve as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Maintain accurate project documentation and produce regular reports to update stakeholders on progress and budget status. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and safety protocols. Lead project review meetings and schedule evaluations to capture lessons learned and improve future project methodologies. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Solid experience in project management for HV power substations, with a focus on safety and compliance. Strong knowledge of substation design, equipment, and installation processes. Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) and tools. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
