Hype Building Ltd is a growing construction company delivering high-quality HMO conversions, refurbishments, and residential projects across Staffordshire. Things are hectic right now — there’s a lot going on, and I’m running most of it solo. I need someone who can come in, take the pressure off, and start making the role their own. If you’re someone who thrives on bringing order, solving problems, and getting stuck in, this could be a great fit.
We’re looking for a self-employed, site-based project manager to support 1–2 days per week initially. If the fit is right and you’re adaptable, there’s real potential for the role to grow with the business.

This could suit:

• Someone experienced in construction who’s looking to slow down and stay local, without the pressure of full-time work - this is easy work.
• A recent graduate keen to gain real site-based experience and mentorship

You’ll need:

• Your own transport
• A background in construction (trade, site management, or degree)
• Computer literacy is essential
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Self-motivation and reliability

Responsibilities:

• Visit sites to check progress, quality, and health & safety compliance
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and Building Control
• Report progress updates to the director and, where required, to the client
• Ensure jobs are running to schedule and flag issues early
• Help with scheduling trades and coordinating timelines
• Keep project records up to date using our paperless system
• Identify and solve on-site problems to reduce project delays
• Contribute to smoother workflows and smarter site management
