The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager I - Sustainability to support the Los Angeles Community College District’s BuildLACCD Capital Construction Bond Program. The Project Manager I will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle—including planning, design, construction, commissioning, and close-out—for bond-eligible capital construction, modernization, and sustainability initiatives, with a strong emphasis on achieving sustainability outcomes. *Salary Range: $155K/Year-$165K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications Hybrid Schedule: One (1) work-from-home (WFH) day per week Key Responsibilities Lead and manage sustainability-focused capital projects in compliance with District and BuildLACCD policies Align project planning and execution with District sustainability goals and initiatives Track, document, and verify field issues, RFIs, change requests, and corrective actions related to BMS and FDD implementation Monitor project schedules, documentation, and compliance using BuildLACCD procedures Develop and maintain sustainability plans and performance metrics to assess program effectiveness Support energy conservation and sustainability programs across BuildLACCD departments Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle: master planning, design, construction, and close-out Attend project, construction, and BuildLACCD meetings representing sustainability initiatives Travel to project sites as required Monitor sustainability best practices and recommend improvements Perform related duties as assigned in support of District sustainability efforts Qualifications Minimum three (3) years of experience managing multiple construction projects, preferably within a large capital improvement or public-sector program, with familiarity with applicable Public Codes At least two (2) years of experience developing, implementing, maintaining, or managing sustainability-based initiatives, processes, or programs, including the collection, analysis, and reporting of program data Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a closely related field Additional qualifying experience beyond the minimum requirements may be substituted for the required education Demonstrated knowledge of sustainability policies, issues, and concepts Experience supporting or working with sustainability or environmental programs, preferably within higher education or public institutions Experience with alternative project delivery methods Proficiency using web-based project management systems Familiarity with Division of the State Architect (DSA) construction and design processes Why Join Greenridge?
