Under minimal guidance, the Project Manger serves as the primary communicator with customers regarding all high level activity. Enhance customer integration and retention by providing a single point of contact for customer account interaction and swift issue resolution. Responsible for monitoring data integrity of shipments in operating platform.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in project management, logistics, or customer account management
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Cadence or similar platforms
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., SmartSheet or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills; able to manage complex data and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with all levels of the organization, including executives and private equity sponsors; able to work independently on-site
  • Functional skills with Microsoft Office products, with a strong emphasis on Excel
  • Extremely well organized
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneousl

Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

  • Identify customer performance expectations and measurements through dialog with customers, sales and operations;
  • Assist implementation of customer performance expectations and measurements with call center leadership and the sales team;
  • Serve as an expediter and single point of contact when necessary for particularly critical, complex, or larger customer orders;
  • Perform root cause analysis and issue resolution on customer’s behalf;
  • Assist the sales team by providing market segment knowledge and recommending best practices based on available service offerings.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of market segment knowledge to enhance customer communication and instill customer confidence in the services offered by Axis Global.
  • Ensure all customer maintenance is updated with current customer information, including maintaining current contact information, operational details and auto-email notifications;
  • Develop, maintain and verify proper Inventory data for customers using Cadence or other WMS interface(s);
  • Develop and maintain customer SOP’s that include version control, change control, information distribution, etc.
  • Develop and maintain proper Project Management practices for customers using SmartSheet or another PM interface(s);
  • Audit customer charges and costs as needed to ensure proper billing and to determine appropriate profit margins; audit invoices on a predetermined schedule;
  • Issue credits, when appropriate, within specific price and issue constraints to improve customer satisfaction while maintaining profit;
  • Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature and workshops;
  • Assist project managers and warehouse teams with WMS operations
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
